ᴅᴀɴs ʟᴀ ᴘᴇᴀᴜ ᴅᴇs ᴀʀʙʀᴇs is an ongoing project carried out over the past years, in collaboration with
@xdartayre Ix Dartayre, my friend and photographer.
I knitted a series of interactive pieces of bark I called ᴇ́ᴄᴏʀᴄᴇ́•ᴇ — those textured-looking moults, are nailed onto walls to paraphrase the beauty of the tree’s barks as individual’s skins.
Our process is to collect pictures traces, marks and messages left on barks to materialise them as knitted sheds of textile, making then a tangible archive of a tree, that lives, shed, and return to Mother Earth. 🍂
