Two BIG obstacles to mindful running 😟 The first is having a system that clarifies what you should be doing and when you should be doing it. Not only that, your system should be designed to continually remind you that it was your intention to practice mindful running 🥸 The second obstacle is mindset. Having a realistic understanding of what progress looks like can mitigate the challenge of staying on track with your practice when you don’t see “results” quite yet. You need to have a program to be able to run a marathon. You need to understand that it will take time to build up to 26.2 and be realistic with your expectations of how far you can run right now. Mindfulness training is no different.
