Great info! I have a pair of Brooks Cascadia thermal mittens. They are super thin, but incredibly warm. I only wear them when it’s less than 20 Fahrenheit. I’ve worn them as low as zero degrees and my hands have never been cold. They are much thinner than ski gloves/mittens. And they have an outer layer that is protective of wind/wet.

Great info. I’ve bought so many pairs of gloves & mittens for running here in the northeast in cold weather. Hot hands are a great help. I tuck a pack in my pocket, just in case. Love that you know about that heavy wet snow melting on you. Staying dry and warm can be tricky, can’t it? 🥶
