Blasha & Allatt joined our third-ever event at the end of 2022 for the Season Opening of our pop-up club in Hostivař. Their 3-hour vinyl set left a mark for anyone who had the chance to witness it, and moreover, the entire experience helped to blossom our friendship. Steffi and Tasha have the ability to instantly click with anyone thanks to their pure and magnetic energy, easily witnessed through their sound. As the co-founders of the queer parties Meat Free and Frixxxion, they’ll know how to properly guide us through the birthday celebration. The latest daytime edition of hereandthere was a massive challenge. Faced with unpredictable weather conditions, our light and atmo team — Keo Šket, Soňa, Leon Cobra, Pablo Garduño, and Ella Pavel, as well as our big crew worked tirelessly overnight to make sure the event would take place. Seeing so many of you enjoying yourselves made it all worth it. You may have already heard about Ecilo through our first hereandthere release with his track – Arianne V. As a talented DJ, producer, music curator, and promoter, he’s been crafting his skills since 2007 mainly in Jakarta, leaving a notable mark in the Southeast Asian scene. It’s over 15,000km from Indonesia to Detroit, but Ecilo’s productions capture the rhythm, power, and heart of that Detroit beat, which caught our attention and labels such as Axis Records, ARTS, Planet Rhythm and We Are The Brave. Following a short break, we’re returning with our podcast series, which has undergone a petite upgrade in the new year thanks to our design fairy, Asya. We couldn’t have asked for a better guest for this new format than our long-time supporter and friend, Sebi aka Separat, who is one of the founders of Brandwerk. We were excited to dive into an interview with Sebi, a vinyl-only DJ who balances impeccable music taste, curation, and scenography to learn a bit more about his mindset towards mixing and community building.
