AAGUILAA (@aaguilaadj ) harnesses these forces to convey to the world his particular vision of body-moving electronic music, be it in his role as DJ, as programmer of the long-running party Vicuna, or as co-founder of the temporary cultural space FFORMATT, a basement parking lot in the center of Brussels.
His playing style is focussed on building tension and excitement over extended sets, playing a darker, synthesized side of dance music like EBM, New Beat, Italo or hi-NRG.
He has been a regular at Brussels underground parties and has been invited to perform at unique events across Europe, such as Bozar Nights, Impulstanz Vienna (in collaboration with New York choreographer Trajal Harell), House of Moda in Paris, and BUKA in Milan. He had a 3-year residency on Brussels’ Kiosk Radio, has been a regular on Amsterdam’s Red Light Radio and appeared on The Lot Radio in New York.
