The greek producer Avilynn arrives to the label after a long hiatus to bring you 3 tracks of intricate beats and inspiring atmospheres!
The soundscape is idyllic with it’s round kicks and tight hi-hats laying down a groovy rhythmic carpet over which delicate pads and plushy melodies are arranged skillfully. The Bear or No Bear dilemma is presented on the A-side as a curious play of sonically resembling elements, each with its own particular feeling, both spinning at 134 bmp. In the It’s a Bear construct, the elements play around joyously under light, crisp atmospheres; It’s Not a Bear presents a diffferent perspective with a syncopated beat and bells sounds rallying a darker vibe.
The B-Side delivers the perfect closing track – epic DJ set ending material: an uptempo break-beat banger, sweet and hopeful, joyous and rebellious at the same time. A flavourful cherry in an otherwise already super-tasteful EP.

The artist behind the comeback release is Greek music producer and label-head Eva Fragkou aka @avilynn_music . This release, which marks Avilynn’s debut on ACR, and also a first outside her own Taisha Records, feels like a strong statement: one to the artist’s craftsmanship and to ACR’s dedication to fostering creativity and originality.
Having a label which allows him to release carefully curated tracks from artists he follows and admires is a passion Answer Code Request is dedicated to.
Comprised of 3 tracks of intricate beats and inspiring atmospheres, the EP has, nonetheless, a clear conducting narrative to it. Perhaps due to the evocative track names with It’s a Bear and It’s Not a Bear sharing the A-side, and Laughing at You on the B-side of the digital release.
