EMIR-B is a DJ and producer born in Argentina, now based in Spain. Believing in electronic music’s power to create community, he has founded several collectives, including Argentina’s
@w.it.ch.es , the latter supporting the LGBTQI+ community. In Spain, he launched
@maquinatotal_ , with five editions in Barcelona, including one at RAZZMATAZZ, and
@silenciolocx_ , an LGBTQI+ collective in Madrid’s Ballesta Club. He headlines European clubs like
@moog_barcelona and
@sameheads and is a bi-weekly resident at
@serendipia_club_madrid in STARDUST. You can hear his sets on
@kiosk.radio (Brussels) and
@operator.radio (Rotterdam), and he is a resident of the label UNUSUAL SYSTEMS.
According to him, “As a DJ, I am a curator of an eclectic mix of sounds that retain a vivid image of the roots of electronic music in the 90s. I fuse genres including techno, acid, breaks, and electro, passing through trance, new beat, and bleep.”
