Cutback week long run done! This is the summer of “following the rules.” That means a few things for me (and it may be different for you): •Taking my easy runs (and days) TRULY easy. I’ve fooled myself in the past thinking I was taking my easy runs easy. Looking back they were closer to threshold runs than easy runs. 😬 •Along with taking easy runs easy, I’m trying to get that speed work in and really pushing myself in meeting the correct paces for each workout. 😅 •Adding in weight training. Following the workouts in the KimFit app has been incredibly helpful in getting me into a weight training routine. 💪 •Lastly really dialing in to my nutrition. For the past 2 years I’m pretty sure I’ve been underfueled and underhydrated. Horribly. So I’m taking in allll the information I can about proper fueling and hydration- what, when, scaling for different days, intrarun fueling and hydration, and so much more. 🥯 I’ve tagged some of the products and accounts I love and follow that have helped me in all of these areas. 👍 Do you have any goals this summer that are not time or distance related?
