Unstoppable UK artist @masonmaynard makes an unmissable return to the label this week. Following on from his massive Hot Creations EP’s, ‘McLovin’ and ‘Somethin’ For Tha Underground’, he serves up ‘XTC’. Featuring a collab with US DJ/producer @honeyluv and a remix by none other than @jamiejonesmusic , this one’s coming in extra HOT. 🔥
Title track ‘XTC’ is a club groover with menacing vocal hooks and playful rhythms, infused with a retro energy. On the remix, Jamie Jones crafts an exemplary, underground dubby take, intertwining layered effects and hypnotic atmospherics for the ultimate dancefloor weapon. To close, ‘Fly Away’ is another twisted offering that comes with Maynard’s distinct blend of depth, melody and carefully designed groove.
