@jesse_g , a Techno DJ originally from Wiesbaden, Germany, is now based in Berlin. She’s a member of the Tresor DJ team, has a residency at RSO Berlin, co-hosts ‚necton‘ on Refuge Worldwide, and works at the legendary Berlin-Hard Wax record store. Her current sound combines metallic tones, trippiness, grooves, diverse rhythms, and elements of UK Bass. We are very happy to have her on board for our Voitax Mix series. Enjoy 💕

A lil throwback after pic of my last De School gig during ADE Het Weekend last year. I‘m super grateful that these 3 hours are now part of the Het Archief and the 8 years of music and club history that happened in this building. A funny side note: when I played at De School the very first time in ‘22, I was in a stressful period of writing my thesis on archives and art. It was my first international ‚big’ gig and I just felt like a lil fish in a big pond. I learned so much in one weekend, met many inspiring people whom I‘m still in touch with and came back a year after with a lot of growth on many levels. Now I‘m part of an archive too and I guess some circles sometimes close 🗂️ with that being said: no matter where the journey takes you, you’ll never forget who believed in you and pushed you when many didn’t want to. Friday, June 21 Start: 11pm Freifeld: Jesse G Ryan James Ford Born and raised in Wiesbaden, @jesse_g is a berlin based Techno DJ. She is part of the local Tresor DJ team and has a residency at RSO Berlin. In addition to her own showcase „What’s Cooking“ on HÖR, she also co-hosts the radio show „necton“ on Refuge Worldwide and works at the record store Hard Wax. Her current sound is a mix of metallic sounds, trippiness, grooves and diverse rhythms. @ryan.james.ford sets and productions are rich with inspiration from his time spent living in Calgary where he had interests not only in electronic music but also in hip hop, post rock, reggae, jazz, experimental, and even some interest in metal. Even though two decades have passed since Ryan’s introduction to electronic music, his love for early Warp, Metalheads, Metroplex, Novamute, Skam, Downwards, etc. can still be heard resoundingly clear in the strength and versatility of his productions and sets.
