Tigers are seriously my favorite models to work with underwater. Always big smiles showing their teeth and they love coming in close for the shot!
Really though I love seeing their shadows move along the sand as they swim around.

This day has been my favorite interaction with a baby whale I’ve ever had. I think this is also the cleanest whale photo I’ve ever taken, and I love it 🐳
Glad to have shared the water this day with great friends as well. The baby played on the surface for 20 minutes and swam around and circled each group at least twice. Interactions we remember forever.
IN THE SEA
Follow @joshmunoz through the magical waters of Moorea. There is beauty from the reef to the deep blue. Finding our connection with the ocean and its inhabitants.
I started this short film two years ago. After a hard drive crashing with the original completed project and upgrading cameras to one capable of higher resolution imagery the motivation to get back to this project was low. However I personally don’t ever want my footage to rot away, never to be used, on my hard drive. So I decided to throw this together and finally complete this project. I hope you like it (if you don’t, don’t tell me 😂)

Never force an interaction.
More often than not when you sit still and calm the wildlife will choose to come your way. It’s never a success when you kick after them. I mean would you want to hang out with someone who’s chasing you? Probably not.

Days spent exploring Quintana Roo.
We would just study google maps and look for the fresh water holes that we could spot. Load up the car with dive gear, hide our extra Pesos somewhere so the cops didn’t try and rip us off, and go for hours.
Sometimes we would find absolutely amazing Cenotes and spend literally all day shooting in the light rays. Other times we would stop early for beers and tacos 🌮🍻
