Experience what it’s like to have styling advice from an A-Class Stylist right from the comfort of your home and at your fingertips. In this new series I explore and teach you the basics and must know tips and tricks on how you can elevate your everyday wardrobe. I even have a few surprise guests that you know and love popping in on a few episodes. There is fashion, there is Caribbeaness, there are giveaways, there are local designers and retailers and so so much more. The best part is that this series is for EVERYONE, ladies, gents and them. This project has been a labour of love and was filmed during the lockdown of this crazy pandemic. I can’t believe I got it done but with an amazing team and all the collaborators and sponsors its taking off. STILLS STYLING FOR J&CO KEZ STYLES X KEZ STUDIOS One thing I love is when clients come up with fresh ideas for their brands and I get the honour of bringing it to life. @judysformalandbridal wanted to show off some of the diverse styles offered from their luxury menswear brand J&Co and so we had the absolute pleasure of executing outstanding flatlay imagery for them. They are always setting the bar so high. I love Stills Styling just as much as I do styling people and decided I would start showing off more of that portfolio on here as well. Did a spontaneous tour of The Red House with my beauty of a friend @passport.and.wifi this past week and it was so good. Not to mention, having a degree in Political Sciences and International Relations makes it an ‘ironic excursion’😆. Visited parliament rooms and saw a mural of talented art from artists at the Rotunda Gallery (Did you know it’s open to the public for free?). I know most of you don’t know but I took a hiatus from work for the month of May. Survived one of the toughest months of my life! Glory to God. I’m so grateful for all the love that covered me and my family, all the check ins, even from clients, from strangers, just everyone! My granny is still with us ♥️ (FYI). As I seamlessly fall back into work and the projects my clients patiently waited on me to execute during all the chaos that ensued last month, I just want to say thank you. As an entrepreneur and someone who has carved my own path. Taking an entire month off work isn’t usually something very easy to do, but I’m so grateful to God that I’m blessed enough to do so. Anyway, ya girl litty in June. I was even able to catch up on a few Netflix shows too, ha. Lastly… one thing is for sure, two are for certain. An outfit is always in order. Xx, Kez.

STYLING BTS: Love revisiting this shoot for @caribbeanlookbook This is one of my favourite cover shoots ever, one of the reasons being I got to work with so many iconic women. I want to thank @melissasimonhartman for the honour of Styling and doing Creative Direction for this shoot. I bless the day she contacted me because now we have such a beautiful relationship. STORY TIME: God has a funny sense of humour… When I got the call and received the email from the Mayor’s Office while it was a surreal moment to be recognized by my community this way, I must confess that during that time leading all the way up to the day of this event I had been struggling with an immense plague of imposter syndrome and dealing with an overwhelming sense of self doubt. I did not tell anyone not even those closest to me that the moment was happening because at the time I did not have the zeal to celebrate myself. Being a full time Wardrobe Stylist and Creative Director has been the most challenging journey of my life but has been the most rewarding one. When I started my company , I did not know anyone doing what I at the time had set out to do. I was a full time Wardrobe Stylist and THIS was always my bread and butter. Today I’ve done wardrobe for more TV commercials than I can count, dressed every public figure in Trinidad and Tobago I have dreamt of working with, styled and directed shoots for the biggest corporate companies. I created opportunities for myself where they did not exist and I know the work I have done and continue to do has already layed and will continue to lay a foundation for so many more to come. I know what I’ve done in the world of fashion and more specifically as a Stylist and Creative Director in my country is something of an anomoly, even to those who might at times pretend to not see it, which is why I am SO GRATEFUL for my flowers when they come. I want to thank the people who continue to mention my name in these rooms. I want to send love to my family and friends who constantly shower me with endless love and support and always celebrate me openly. And lastly I want to thank God and me for believing in me consistently for all these years. May I continue to create more history beyond my home shores. These wins mean so much to me, because it means that one day my children, my grand children and their children get to see these accomplishments and hopefully be inspired by all the history their nana made. That matters to me. All that I do is a part of creating an intentional legacy and always will be. Xo, Kez

HER-STORY… because I’m making history. I am so honoured to have been recognised by the Borough of Point Fortin where I was born for my outstanding contribution to Trinidad & Tobago but also as one of the pride and joys of my hometown. His Worship The Mayor Alderman of Point Fortin Clyde James hosted a Women’s Symposium where I was honoured to be one of the esteemed guests and speakers. One of the highlights of my night was getting to meet and speak with the Minister of Planning and Development the Honourable Penelope Beckles-Robinson. I am delighted that Yolandra C John, Bryana Fortune, Lois Lewis were among some of the amazing women I got to rub shoulders with and I felt so incredibly blessed. It blows my mind to think that a few years ago , I graduated with a BSc in Political Sciences and International relations, handed my parents my degree certificate and then left home to pursue my dreams in fashion whole heartedly and relentlessly not knowing what the tides would bring. Being a full time Wardrobe Stylist and Creative Director has been the most challenging and toughest journeys of my life but has been so rewarding. I am always so grateful for my flowers when they come. These wins regardless of how you may see them mean so much to me, because it means that one day my children, my grand children and then their children get to see these accomplishments and hopefully be inspired by it.
