Reckless is finally out, and once again, I find myself equally terrified and excited for you to read this next installment in the series. This book was the first I wrote after the sudden success of Powerless—it was such an honor to step back into this world with so many people excited to read my next words. Every story in this series has a different heartbeat (one of my wonderful editors said it best @yasminmorrisseyeditor ), and Reckless’s is a bit calmer, like a deep breath before things get even crazier. This is very much Paedyn and Kai’s journey, so I hope you enjoy this change of pace before the crazy conclusion of this series in book 3. Whether they find one another or not (no spoilers), it was so necessary that I give them the chance to try.
