I’m a woman, artist, princess, feminist, and nerd at heart. During the journey of my life, I’ve learned that techno, peace, and cacao are the best medicine against PMS.
I love it when systems work out logically, and scenarios are predictable. That’s likely why I ended up as a web developer in my other life. My favorite color:
#8A2BE2 .
Since I was a child, I often felt attached to things that were attributed to boys in mainstream thinking. The more this lasts, the more comfortable I feel with the pronouns she / her, demonstrating that my nerd side is not a male one / animus / inner samurai but naturally belongs to my identity as a female.
I’ve experienced body-shaming, which is not only a personal story, but also a structural and political topic for me. The fact that the female-read body is judged, sexualized, and used as a social deco-object is only one example of the significant room for improvement concerning feminist issues in society. Often, I would like to ask beauty companies, specially those who pinkwash their public identity with rainbow flags, to rethink their style of promoting themselves, reproducing problematic body ideals.
On the other hand, I’ve met many persons, including cis men, who never made me feel less like a woman because even an a-cup is too big for my boobs, and I don’t feel like putting a lot of makeup on my face. I love my boyfriend.
I believe in the power of FLINTA* communities as a source of creative empowerment, and I wouldn’t be the same rave girl without my crew
@kosmos_und_krawall .To experience how we support each other in our music and in our individual process means a lot to me.
Whatever you deal with as a FLINTA* person, whatever you dream of, whatever you struggling with - this day is yours! Fight for your rights and be proud, embrace gender trouble, keep standing up for better salaries, show who you are, empower each other!
Barista, barista, antisexista, and happy world womxns day! < 3
