***In-house pelvic floor screens coming up Saturday June 29 @ 10 am-12 pm*** 📣📣📣 We are excited to announce we will be hosting in-house pelvic floor screens! These screens will help with leakage, tailbone pain, pain with intimacy, pregnancy pain, prolapse, diastasis recti, low back pain, hip pain, and more. Exercises I did during my first trimester (part 2 of 2) ✨I was noticing pain in the front of my pelvis during a long car ride home to attend a bridal shower. This pain can sometimes be called “lightning crotch” ✨I was surprised by this because my baby is not big enough to put physical pressure on the area, the joint was hurting because of hormonal effects. ✨Copenhagen planks are great for this to help stabilize the joint. Exercises for 0-6 weeks postpartum: ✨Abdominal contraction/engagement: get your abs active again by pulling them up and in during your exhale. Remember to tighten the muscles, not just suck in your stomach. ✨Sidelying rotation is great to help stretch out the back gently. The back easily becomes tight from caring for baby! ✨Roll a lacrosse ball on your low back and any other area of your body that is sore including the shoulder blades and hips.
