I feel deeply honored to represent the beautiful state of Virginia! I am excited about advancing my Community Service Initiative: Bridging the Divide: Music is Unity. By bringing music to schools and nursing homes, I aim to create a more harmonious and united community enriched by music’s healing and transformative power. I am incredibly thankful to God for giving me the strength to persevere on this journey and to the wonderful community of supporters who have stood by me. Tonight, I took my Miss Virginia crown off for the very last time alongside the reason I made it here, my mom. It has been my greatest honor to serve our Commonwealth over the past year, and I am closing this chapter filled with gratitude. The Miss Virginia Opportunity gave me my voice, my strength, and my purpose, and I cannot wait to see what is next in my life for me as “just Katie.” I thank God every single day for this once in a lifetime year that I will forever cherish and look back on with the fondest memories of people met and experiences that have shaped me into the woman that I am today. Virginia, thank you for having me. I am officially signing off. With all my love and greatest appreciation, I will forever be your Miss Virginia 2023, Katie Rose. ❤️

Tonight, I lay my head down for the very last time as Miss Virginia 2023.🩷 As I say my prayers with gratitude for a wonderful year, another young woman is saying her prayers in hopes of becoming the next Miss Virginia. This year has truly been the honor of a lifetime, and I cannot wait to welcome my new Miss Virginia sister with open arms. Tomorrow, I will close the most special chapter in my book, but I just know in my heart that the best is truly yet to come. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for everyone who got me here. Virginia, this is goodnight, but not goodbye.

You’d think I was a NASCAR fan or something 🤔🏁 The “Purse a nality” auction was a huge success, and I did not walk away empty-handed. I blame @christianroseracing

And we have hit the stage! 🧡

And just like that, my interview days as Miss Virginia are over. 🤍🖤 This morning, I warmed up the judges who will be selecting the next Miss Virginia. Competition has officially begun, and I’m beyond excited for my sister (whoever she may be), as she is now starting her journey. Good luck to all the 2024 delegates. After meeting all twenty-five young women, the judges most certainly have a difficult decision to make.
