🩰ARTIST REVEAL🩰: Po-Nien Wang is a Taiwanese Berlin-based contemporary dancer, choreographer and performance artist. He has performed at festivals/theatres such as La Biennale di Venezia, Julidans, Milanoltre and several seasons at Staats Oper Unter den Linden Berlin. He enjoyed collaborations with choreographers such as Aleta Collins, Ali Heffetz, Chloe Chignell, Daniel Hay-Gordon, Fabrizio Favale, Gemma Payne, Irina Baldini, Joaquín Collado Parreño, Koen De Preter, Monika Dorniak. He has also worked with Aakash Odedra Company as rehearsal director for re-staging “Samsara” since 2023. With the support from the Ministry of Culture Taiwan, ”MOUNTAIN GHOST“ (a work-in-progress) at the 2024 Want To Dance Festival was not only successfully staged last weekend but also received the Exchange Program Award for the year of 2025. I, Po-Nien Wang, and the whole team are deeply encouraged and moved by this great news. My gratitude to all international curators and Taiwanese judges for their support. I look forward to returning to Taiwan with a richer work, where I can share further creative insights, and foster the connection between art and diversity in our community.
