Mycelium x mp3 @ Den Anden Side on 29.06: For the 3rd expansion of our Mycelium network we are delighted to welcome dear friends of the house : mp3, hosted by darling Rachel noon and natural floor killer Mohajer.
mp3 aims to create temporary spaces for the FLINTA+ (female, lesbian, intersex, nonbinary, transgender and agender) and extended Queer community. Our mission is to collaborate with and elevate artistsfrom within these circles and to do so with a diverse team from its core. We design and organize everything from the ground-up and with an intentionally DIY integrity. The platform embodies a raw alliance of people with music and the creative arts. During an mp3 event, venues become celebrated spaces with a notably unique identity.
mp3 was founded by residents Mohajer and Rachel Noon, who perceived a gap within the vast landscape of Berlin parties. A third resident, Spray, has joined, and we have expanded our team by three additional core members. The concept was conceived with the intention of creating a really intimate gathering of extended friends. It started at Zur Klappe and is now firmly rooted at Fitzroy - a 200 person capacity venue that feels fresh with possibility.
mp3 is a value driven group of like-minded individuals. At each party, we choose to collect donations for groups we feel do particularly urgent work. Our recent donations have gone to International Relief, AMAL, and Berlin Legal Fund.

played 11 hours b2b with a wizard (Kancheli) to close the most beautiful dancefloor in the world, and followed that with a night of queer magic with Eau de Cologne. Over the last two days I got to play deep, psychedelic trance, old minimal techno, spaced-out house music, 90s Florida breaks, housey piano belters, and just about everything in between. Feeling that comfortable with all of my music isn't as common as it should be; but you, Bassiani, made it easy for me to share every kind of sound that I love. That is priceless.

We're excited to introduce Rachel Noon as our newest resident DJ at @pornceptual . Originally from NYC but now a Berlin-based rave spirit, Rachel brings unstoppable energy and fearless passion for music to our family. As the founder of the roaming event platform LARGE MARGE (@largemargeworld ) and co-founder of mp3 Berlin (@mp3.berlin ), she has showcased her strength in the music scene. Rachel's DJ journey includes memorable performances at renowned venues like Bassiani (Tbilisi), Basement (NY), ∄ (Kyiv), and various queer club nights such as Mala Junta, QReclaim, and Honcho Campout.
Rachel's technically adept mixing skills and unwavering dedication to the community have earned her acclaim (@resident_advisor recently proclaimed: "Now this is how you mix techno"). Her recent ventures include debuting a live set from her collaborative project with Steffen Dix called “Self Care Starter Pack.”
Despite her European success, Rachel attributes her career strides to Brooklyn's underground queer scene, where she cultivated LARGE MARGE, a series that has expanded globally. Described as "equal parts DJ and rave spirit," Rachel Noon is a force on the dance floor, and we're thrilled to have her on board.
