As a live-only-performer and excessive sound designer, Peryl relies on his modular system and chains of effects to captivate his audiences with high-energy sets. Many sounds in his SPANDAU20 mixtape where created like that. It was recorded live at @aboutblank – so the focus of the setup was on efficiency and innovation, with key players like the Elektron Octatrack and Roland TR8s leading the charge. He’s streamlined the process for live performances, adding a UC33 MIDI controller and a duo of effects pedals for that extra atmospheric touch.🎛️
