YALL WE’RE PREPARING FOR TOMORROW AND WE’RE FEELING SO MUCH GRATITUDE. If you don’t know… ”last year it was announced that Emmy-winning actress and producer Storm Reid, alongside her mom, CEO and Film/TV Producer Robyn Simpson, joined forces with the City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation and tennis pro and Atlanta native Coco Gauff to invest in their hometown. After touring several Atlanta communities, Reid and Simpson selected Brownwood Park where all-new playground amenities have been installed and will now be open to the community. Their vision was supported by New Balance and the East Atlanta Kids Club. The newly transformed playground includes amenities such as Little Beaver’s Stream, the Witch’s Tower, the Roloway Trail, and a Swingset. Groundbreaking on this project first began in July 2023 and the park will immediately be open to the public following the ribbon-cutting event on June 18, 2024.” 🥲🩷 WHEN: Tuesday, June 18th at 9:30am & WHERE: Brownwood Park 602 Brownwood Avenue SE │Atlanta, GA 30316
