Never will forget he stopped my dad and I in our tracks and complimented us on our playing as accordionist and bassist at the south Texas CONJUNTO awards. After 8 years with my dad, that’s still the number one highlight of my Conjunto career. I told him I learned from my dad and he tipped his hat to my dad! #respect 🤍
