I had a really great couple of days climbing down in the Red River Gorge yesterday and today! The weather could not have been better ☀️ This is a video of a route I did today, it’s only 5.10b but it’s pretty steeply overhung so it was definitely a fight for me to send this one! (Getting better at overhung climbing but I still need to work on it more for sure) For the whole top half I thought I was going to come off at any minute - glad I stuck with it though! Had a fantastic day in the Red River Gorge today! Great climbing, great weather, and great company - thanks @ktatthecrux and @annacat_hart for the belays, laughs, and good vibes ☺️ I also sent my second 5.11b outdoors today, which is cool! (Route pictured) It’s definitely soft for the grade but that’s okay - I’m still proud of myself 🙂 Looking forward to many more great days in the Red this spring season! The spring has just begun!!

First 5.11b send/flash today! 🥳 I’m stoked!! Thanks @brianstevenson2599 for the belay and for the route recommendation! You’re picking out all of my projects from now on 🤣 And thanks Noah (@eliteperformanceclimbing ) for all of the body support!! I started working with Noah in August for an elbow injury from last fall and recurring shoulder pain/instability that’s been plaguing me for around 3 years now, and I am feeling better in my body than I have in years (or ever?) and am climbing better than I ever have! I still have some work to do with my shoulder/elbow stuff but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and today was a big win for me, especially given how weak I was just this spring/summer - I’m just so grateful to be finally feeling good about my climbing again ❤️ Any climber (or musician) friends with lingering injuries that just won’t go away, I highly recommend you reach out to Noah, you won’t regret it!

It was a ✨gorgeous✨day for climbing in the Red on Friday! The weather is finally starting to feel more like fall and I am so excited! 🍁🍂 Also, I got on a 5.11a again for the first time since I started having elbow issues in November, and almost sent it on the second try!
