A dream came true this year…playing at @boomfestivalofficial . Since 2014 I was dreaming of this and this year wow! I was more than super nervous before going on stage. But I had wonderful support from many friends (who were nervous too 😉) and my beloved ones! The whole night was truly epic! Wave shaping? What’s that? 🤔 Have you ever come across that term? Maybe unconsciously used it without knowing? That’s what happened to me and I dug into it. There are many explanations and techniques out there and probably there’s no really wrong or right one. I hope I could explain it well. But the way I understand it is altering the shape of the waveform. It’s kind of a saturation technique. I find it works best with simple forms like sine saw or square. On vocals or more complex things it sounds weird mostly. It’s super powerful and can lead to awesome sounds!
