The bulk of this album was made in January 2023 at the enchanting Chale Abbey Studios on the Isle of Wight. Co-produced and co-written by Orlando, @sergiomas7 , @dgranshaw , @_williamdoyle , @samielenany , @alexander.painter and myself with some additional sparkle and rumble by master @bullionness

I love Ella so much and her willingness to embrace bravery in the studio has brought out the best in me
Very proud of the sound we achieved on this song, give it a spin if you want to hear wem copicats, pans and the Apollo twin talkback mic. We also used a funny old truck radio mic I bought from my fave shop in LA @futuremusicstore (slide 2) for the BV’s

This is my first release as a producer and I am so grateful to Ella for letting me get my grubby paws all over this absolutely magical song! We made this entirely between Ella’s childhood home and my old studio spot. I learned so so much about how to engineer and make the most of just a couple of mics and a laptop.. carving and reshaping the sculpture at every turn in search of some kind of identity for the sound.. but I think we got there

Cian, @catecanning , @roryadamss and I co-wrote track 5 “How Do You Know” in Cian’s old garden a couple of years ago and I’m so glad it’s out in world now :))
I’ve known Cian since we were 18 and over the years we’ve made music together in so many different ways.. open mics, recording sessions, live streams, gigs etc etc. But my favourite thing about Cian is that he is 100% himself with his commitment to songwriting at all times.
This album is honest in its introspection and its celebration so I’m beyond thrilled to have been able to contribute even a small part.
