We had the pleasure of having Ben Pisano of
@corsicanamusic come back on the podcast to speak from a producer’s perspective on all things us songwriters are curious about (but may be too afraid to ask). Give it a listen wherever you get your podcasts, and make sure to follow The Songwriter Diaries and give us a rating ✨
Ben Pisano is a Denver-based musician, audio engineer, & producer. He has written, performed, & released music as Corsicana for nearly a decade, with 2023 seeing him release his 3rd full-length album under the name. The project served as a starting point for his career as an engineer/producer, leading Pisano to work with artists including past & present Colorado locals such as Alana Mars, Nicki Walters, Stop Motion, Clementine Was Right, Modern Leisure, Sam Paul, Zembu, Sister Neapolitan, Britt Devens, Ellsworth, & Caroline Stump. Outside of the local scene, Pisano has found work with clients such as NYC indie act Tenderglue, Kaliningrad-based writer & spoken-word artist Yevgeni Grishkovetz, and French alt rock band Ready For Mars. Being an artist & songwriter himself, he values the artist's intent above all else, and loves working with people who are passionate about creating things that are genuine, true to their voice, and embrace the imperfections and surprises along the way.
