@grammaintel ) usually doesn’t stick to a single genre or any conventional rules of DJ’ing and his mix for The Lockers was no different. The Rotterdam based artist showcased the art of musical storytelling with a mix of impactful rhythms, broken beat drum grooves and attitude driven techno.

@leff.deff ) set consists of UK and Dutch influenced music with a special focus on music from the Hague, west coast electro, bubbling and (unreleased) tracks from local artists.

@kip_enzo ) is an Electro, Break and Ghetto DJ hailing from The Hague in the Netherlands. His style is defined by the combination of hard Breakbeat and Fast Electronic sounds, backed up by dirty Hip Hop lyrics.

@sturmkid ) came by with a little foray into some rhythms that have been forgotten on the shelves. Dreamy B-sides, old abandoned UK rhythms, scratchy gutters and above all a bit of fun.

@loslippig ),a new event that focuses on getting young people to talk more comfortably about sex. We interviewed her about her motives behind creating Loslippig and also talked about sex in general and its meaning in society.

@arantxa_polak ) must have more than 24 hours in a day considering the variety of things she does. She is educating people about drugs through volunteer organization Unity and works as a Health Promotion Officer at mental health care organization Indigo Preventie amongst many other things.

17 years ago Patty Broese van Groenou was part of the team that created PIP Den Haag. She has been a pioneer with an eye for finding creative solutions to societal matters and she’s been active for over 30 years as a projectmanager, policymaker, concept developer, strategist and programmer for our city and other regions.
