“Ain’t running from myself no more”… this was my song choice for talent at @missworld . This song represented finding my voice and finding my light in the darkness. I’m so grateful that I was chosen top 23 for talent and even though I didn’t make it all the way, I’m so proud of myself because never in a million years would I think I’d be singing for the judges at @missworld ☺️ I still struggle with stage fright but one day I’ll be able to sing in front of people like I sing to myself. The surest way to a child’s heart is by spending time with them. When I initially aimed to reopen the homework centre in my home community as part of my @invisiblescarsproject_mwtt project, my focus was wholeheartedly about giving back to the children of our community… however, during this journey, they have given me so much more than what I could have ever asked for. Seeing their smiles when I walk in and getting all their tight hugs always makes me feel so warm and reminds me that I have a purpose here. They’re all my little brothers and sisters and I always want to do more and more for them. That’s why it’s extra special when we get amazing people like @atouch_of_joy on board for these beautiful initiatives! Children deserve to smile every single day❤️
