It's totally the poster for Orehiki the animated serie— - jk jk, I wish- but only if I can have the voice cast of my dreams 😠😠 I don't even remember why I started drawing this in the first place a few months back, but I decided to make it an updated cover for Orehiki on the webcomic sites at some point. So the last slide is actually the old pic I did as a cover - you can see that I was trying to get the same vibe, just with updated art. [Swipe to see the original from 2021] - A year ago in October 2021 I made my first concept art for a new Orehiki (since that was the name of my story for a long time already, it just wasn't really a *story* y'know) so I was dying to recreate a new version of it. I tried to do a mix of his different layers since I wanted to include a visual of the scars too (but didn't want to include his underwear version lmao...) Katsuyuki's abdomen scar is an old arrow wound, meanwhile the other two are from fights with Tatsumaru (more like the hebi just doing a one-sided attack because he's a jerk) His tanto is originally Sachi's, who gave it to him because she preferred the smaller throwing blades. Katsuyuki didn't have any weapons anyway since he ran away from home so its his only weapon (aside from the wakizashi he keeps in the little house he lives in, but that's more of a keepsake since its Shige's).
