🏆 From an ordinary videographer to the Head of the wedding and event videographers society.
This is the story of my incredible journey in the world of videography...🎥
Since 2015, I started shooting my first videos, and I could say that's when my videographer career began. But the real breakthrough happened in 2018 when I participated in the worldwide videographers' competition WEVA. My work was recognized by the judges, and in early 2019, in Prague, I was awarded the title of Best Video Editor of Ukraine and second place as the Best Videographer. 🥇🥈
🏆 But I didn't stop there. The following year, I became a judge in videographer competitions in several countries. In early 2020, before COVID, I attended an award ceremony for other videographers in Rome as a judge.
🌟 In 2021, I decided to enter the competition for the best videographer in Ukraine again. And on February 13, 2022, during an online ceremony, based on the judges' voting from around the world, I was announced as the Best Wedding Videographer of Ukraine for 2021. I also received other awards: second place as the Best Video Editor and third place as the Best Sound Designer.🏆
🌍 By the end of 2022, I was offered to lead the renewed community of videographers from all over the world WEVSY.COM @wevsycom , which now has around 6000 members from different countries of the world. In early 2023, I organized a worldwide videographers' competition and on March 25, 2023, I held an offline and online award ceremony in Prague. The best videographers from Italy, Spain, France, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, and other European countries attended in person, and videographers from around the world watched online.

Work-Life Balance of a Destination Wedding Videographer ⚖️
As a videographer, I’m constantly on the move, traveling to different corners of the world. In the past month alone, I’ve visited the Netherlands, Montenegro, and Palma de Mallorca, and before that, I was in France, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Italy, and Spain. Traveling and working in so many different countries is incredibly enriching, but it also requires the ability to balance work and personal life. Here are a few things that help me maintain this balance:
1. Planning and Scheduling
I strive to plan my trips in advance and allocate separate days for work and leisure. This helps me avoid burnout and enjoy new places. For example, in the Netherlands, I dedicated a day solely to exploring Amsterdam, and in Montenegro, I found time to relax on the coast.
2. Personal Moments
During my travels, I always try to find time for myself. This might be a trip to interesting places or a dinner at a small restaurant in Rome. These moments help me recharge and stay productive.
3. Staying Connected with family and friends
Constant traveling can distance you from family and friends, but I make an effort to maintain regular contact through calls and messages.
4. Health Care
Traveling and working on shoots can be exhausting, so I always try to pay attention to my health (although it doesn’t always work out). Regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and adequate sleep are essential companions on any trip. For instance, in Palma de Mallorca, I found time for morning runs and paddleboarding, which helped me stay fit.
5. Personal Development and Inspiration
Every journey is not only work but also an opportunity for personal growth and inspiration. Visiting new places, and getting to know different cultures and people helps me develop both as an individual and as a professional.
Each new project and trip is an opportunity not only for professional growth but also for personal enrichment. I try not to forget that despite all the challenges and workload, it’s important to find time for myself and my loved ones. This makes my work not only successful but also meaningful and joyful.☺️

Imagine this: a couple flies from the dazzling city of Dubai to the breathtaking island of Mallorca. The future groom has an unforgettable plan up his sleeve – to propose to his beloved girlfriend in a way she’ll never forget. And he wants it all captured on camera without her knowing.
Here’s how we made it happen: we were on the yacht as a second group, pretending to be just another company out for a fun day on the water. Our cover story? We were filming content for another girl on the yacht, creating a video portrait of her enjoying the beautiful scenery. Meanwhile, we were discreetly capturing moments of the unsuspecting couple.
At the perfect moment, we distracted his future bride by taking a few photos of her. As she posed for the camera, he stepped out with a ring and flowers, ready to pop the question. Her reaction was priceless, and we caught every second of it. An extraordinary proposal on a yacht in Mallorca, executed flawlessly.
Love truly knows no bounds, and this proposal is proof that sometimes, the best moments are those that catch us completely by surprise.
