I can’t wait for @tar_dar_tra to see my drawing of Valeriy for our art trade, because I think you’re gonna be gagged. Offering me a twink OC with self-destructive tendencies is a great recipe for sending me into a drawing frenzy and I honestly couldn’t be happier about it. I really like how this turned out, it was lots of fun!! Didn’t expect to be drawing Cher onto a CRT anytime soon, but here we are!!
I mapped out the pose in my poser app beforehand and referenced that along with a bunch of cute clothes from the Valeriy Pinterest board that Rat supplied me with.

If you remember at the big gala, which many angels attended, a lot of things went horribly wrong. The evening ended with glasses shattered, dresses ruined and Miniel missing. Turns out in the heat of chaos (or shortly after) he got abducted to an unknown location, held hostage and questioned. He was sure his friends or agents of heaven would come to his rescue, since it all happened so publicly, but as hours turned into days, while enduring captivity and torture, his faith dwindled.
Only when he had nearly accepted that he would die in this obscure hole of a place, was it that Creed turned on his accomplices and busted Miniel out of his imprisonment. A brutal fight ensues which the pair barely escape alive, running into the woods as fast and far as their battered bodies carry them, until Creed nearly passes out from bloodloss. Miniel finds himself having to provide first-aid for what’s left of Creed’s arm and stop the bleeding. With two wings as broken as his spirit, he drags the fallen angel to a nearby cave, scrambling and trying to calm down until… he can hear footsteps and they are coming closer. Miniel’s heart races as he desperately shakes Creed’s shoulders to no avail, he is alive but out cold. The angel pulls himself up to shaky feet and when the veiled stranger enters the tiny cave, he lunges at them with all the strength that is left in him. He knew it would be a death sentence for both of them if the masked person was one of Creed’s former accomplices. But despite the rage, fear and adrenaline, Miniel is nowhere near strong enough after everything to afflict any more than a new scar on the stranger. After receiving a swift hit to his already spinning head, the angel feels his knees give in. However, as he looses consciousness, internally apologising to his lover for failing to protect him, he never seems to hit the cold stone ground…

Because @ashingcrows is a top G and bought me Jedi: Fallen Order I drew them their very cute DnD goblin character Minnie. Originally I wanted to draw Ilyas, because he’s been getting quite little love but by the time I received the references for him I had already started lining Minnie! I’ll get around to draw him eventually :D
Anyway I had so much fun drawing her while listening to The Magnus Archives with a lecker Bierchen. Such a treat!

“Oh Angeline‘s sheet shouldn’t take me as long since I already figured out the layout“ I was a fool, an utter buffoon that still wasn’t done 38 hours later. It’s honestly embarrassing how slow I am with drawing. And it was only after I had handwritten all the notes that I realized not everyone can read cursive, so I reduced it to the headlines. DOESMT MATTER THO because I had so much fun with all these details. The makeup enthusiasts of you might recognise some of her go-to products! For the backpack stuff I used a ton of cute references from Pinterest. The refillable water bottle with the peaches is based on my own, I have that exact one :D

Rumor has it that Miniel jumped out of bed with the words "I gotta see this for myself, I'm coming to school" and Tsuki had to talk him out of it.
Posting two days in a row should qualify me for some award honestly. Drawing this was so much fun and it definitely confused the old guy that was sitting next to me in the train. Anywayyyy we renamed our AUs school to St. Dominikus so it doesn't share a title with an American cult anymore, which was ironic and fun but also a little macabre :'D

The Guardian Spam Fam and I did a NYE themed art exchange, because we forgot to do a Secret Santa and as it is rite of passage, we postponed the deadline, because life!! is busy!!
I had the lucky draw of our girlypop Tsuki from @moriko.does.stuff and as you can see in the last slide this was originally a fullbody drawing that I already lined and everything. Shading all that made me nervous so I chickened out and cropped the image by like 60% BUT I finished in time, so that's all that matters. Common Instagram L that I can't include the speedpaint in this post in a more elegant way.
Anyway I wanted to render this out in a kind of more realistic painting style, but got frustrated and reeled it back to cellshading. Hope y'all like it tho!!!

For a long time I've been wanting to overhaul Miniel's design for the high school AU, mainly to nerf his ears. I remember back then being hesitant about changing his appearance for the AU because I was afraid he wouldn't be recognizable, but I realized that it doesn't make sense for him to have long ears and pink eyes if they're humans. So I changed his eyes to brown, which gives him a little bit of a dead look, but I think it fits his HS manner :D Btw that's body hair on his arms and legs, not SH scars :')
Initially I only wanted to sketch the bottom right drawing, but I kept thinking of more things I wanted to add, until I ultimately spent 33 hours on this according to Procreate and reaching the layer cap 🥴🥴 I planned the poses in a poser app beforehand and then referenced those.
If you look closely you can discover many details that can tell a bit of Miniel's story in this specific AU. I'd love to know what information you can pull from observing the design details or if anything stood out to you. This was honestly so much fun.
Also if this sparks any headcanons for you, let me hear them :D <3
