Oc x Villain Collab! It was so fun creating that Au for villain Valerie
The lore is that Valeries dad was a magician that one day disappeared. Valerie found his old Spell book and tried a dark magic spell. Since it was ice magic she couldn’t control she got freeze burn from the cold. The numbness could be healed but the dark marks stayed.
In this Au her mother, instead of trying to keep her daughter and image safe by hiding the marks under gloves, she exiled Valerie and calling her cursed. Valerie is left fending for herself and continues studying and practicing dark magic. At first she just wanted to prove that dark magic can be used for good but with time she got onto a power trip and turned evil

I’ve joined my very first Collab event in a server I joined, the @veartcafe
The theme of this collab was designing a character after a logo of an app or website and I chose a website I was really into then, where you can partake in roleplays by drawing your character, called Paperdemon. The shield became a knight motif on her and the vines became her wavy hair and armor details. Since the site ls all about drawing and writing about a character I gave her a book to sketch and write and her dragon wings are also a map
It was really fun putting all those details into a character and everyone else did an amazing job with their characters too so I hope you check them out (they’re linked in the collage)

I just finished reading Hard Liquor by @mariegrasshoff , a German novel about a woman who gets super strength when she drinks alcohol. It was a beautiful book and if anyone can get their hands on it I recommend reading this.
I especially loved the relationship between Tycho and Ray and how Ray supports Tycho even at her worst. And since I loved them so much I decided to draw them.
Its very sketchy and not exactly how I imagined the characters (plus I didn’t know their eye colors) but I hope I did them justice. Love your work Marie!
