I've never seen this one posted anywhere yet! It's the italian pressing of Sade's "𝘚𝘮𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳", with a totally different front cover. "Smooth Operator" (1984), Sade. #45rpm #musiccollection #physicalmedia

| A refreshing dubby reggae influenced super hit that still sounds so contemporary, even if it's one of the songs that most defines the 80s culture. "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" (1982), Culture Club.  #45rpm #physicalmusic

| Matia Bazar? De André? Paganini? Goffredo Mameli? None of them makes me proud of my birthplace #Genova more than @sabrinasalernofficial That's why I seriously started to search for physical copies of her most iconic 80s singles (such as "Boys", "All of Me" and all of that good stuff) but it's really a pain to find them in at least half decent conditions. "Sexy Girl" is the first one I got. #45rpm #physicalmedia #italodisco #80smusic

| The amount of music legends that took part in the making of this record is astonishing: David Foster (producer), Robert Fripp, George Harrison, Steve Lukather and Rick Nielsen just to name a few. Kind of an overlooked album due to the lack of strong commercial hits, as opposed to most of the Hall & Oates' catalogue, but with some really interesting tunes like "Have I Been Away Too Long", "Melody For a Memory" or, the only one I knew before getting this record, "It's a Laugh". "Along the Red Ledge" (1978), Daryl Hall & John Oates. #33rpm #physicalmedia

| "Owner of a Lonely Heart" (1983), Yes. More than just a very catchy riff, Trevor Rabin came up with a whole guitar arrangement that still today is avant-garde, and Trevor Horn mastermind and the rest of the band managed to elevate this song even more. #45rpm #physicalmusic

| "To Be a Lover" (1986) [12" maxi single], Billy Idol. Realized there was nothing by Billy Idol in my collection, which is so unfair since I grew up listening to him and Steve Stevens' psychotropic wizardries a lot. So I immediately went to the record store to sort that out. #45rpm #physicalmedia #physicalmusic

| "Keep Your Distance" (1987), Curiosity Killed the Cat. Thanks to @gidanrazorblade for making me discover this phenomenal band and their debut album in particular, which i'm listening more than anything else at the moment. An assortment of refreshing, groovy tunes that brings a lot of atmosphere to the whereabouts. They are also the closest thing I've heard to another one of my top favorite bands ever, Simply Red.

| "Johnny and Mary" (1980), Robert Palmer. A melancholy melody trapped in an uptempo, sorta disco beat by the innovative genius that was Robert Palmer; rightfully famous for his elegance and being an 80s hitmaker, but never got enough credits for his very experimental attitude. I also love the font used and the design in general of this sleeve. #45rpm #physicalmedia #physicalmusic
