[OC Design Reference — Vidya] - Upon ascension to the position of Chief Technical Designer, she received two different graduation gifts, one a full akademiya-styled clothing set from the akademiya, and the other a village reminiscent set hand sewn by her mother herself. She merged both sets of clothing, creating the very clothing she wears as the chief technical designer… - First of all I have finally made Vidya’s design references!! The second slide features little design elements and origins of her clothing in the Genshin storyline. Truly, the symbolism of her clothes goes far beyond this. Let me give yall a little hint, the layering of her clothes. We know that the “akademiya” is layered above the “tradition”, hinting towards Vidya’s lean away from her own culture and towards the akademiya.
