@sonikaishere The dynamics of parenting are continuously evolving for various reasons. Individuals who decide to have children must sit down and talk about situations that might arise unknowingly. Single parenting or solo parenting can be a draining experience. Both single fathers and single mothers are exposed to emotional shocks, time management countdowns, financial shocks, economic shocks and mental health damages. Who the child stays with will be affected, impacting the parent’s mental well-being. Some healing rituals that would help a single parent manoeuvre the ever-lasting parenting phase: ▪️Be ready to unlearn- You have to adapt ways that no one is living with as they serve you the purpose. So, unlearn anything that doesn't work for you. ▪️Let the baggage go- Stop carrying emotional and guilt baggage from the past It will only make you weak and indecisive. ▪️Allow yourself to heal- Meditate and introspect so that your past wounds do not hamper your present opportunities. Practice meditation with your child. It will help the child heal and establish spiritual capacity . Follow follow for more 👉 @sonikaishere

@conscious_choice14 Recognize the signs of over-dependence, imbalance and lack of personal growth. Open communication, setting boundaries and encouraging independence can create a healthy, balanced relationship.

@sanctuarywellnessclinic.ca Trauma can keep us living in the past. This is represented in our body on a physiological level where we are preparing a response in our body to deal with that threat, even though that threat may have happened long in the past. The problem with living in the past is that we can miss out on all our opportunities to feel safe, connected and present in the moment. The responses you have are protective and ADAPTIVE and when we approach them with compassion, slowness and safety, we can begin to allow that energy to release. As always, Instagram is not a substitute for real therapy. This video is meant to be educational. Click the link in my bio if you're looking for a trauma informed somatic therapist and we can hop on a complimentary 15 minute consult call.

@the_empoweredmentalhealthco My resets look like spending time alone, comforting myself, cleaning my room, and listening to music that allows me to reflect. What does yours look like?
