3pm-6pm with a twist! We will still have lots of different FREE art materials for everyone to use but there will be a focused table and this months is Cyanotype 🌿📷
“Cyanotype photography is a camera-less technique that involves laying an object on paper coated with a solution of iron salts before exposing it to UV light and washing with water to create stunning white and Prussian blue images.
The process was developed in 1842 by the scientist and astronomer Sir John Herschel, who employed it to reproduce notes and diagrams (the technology would be widely used in architecture and engineering until the mid-20th century, hence the term “blueprint”).
The first to adopt this technique in photography was botanist and photographer Anna Atkins. She published a volume of algae cyanotypes that is considered to be the first ever book with photographic images.”
Please bring your own leaves/flowers/objects you intend to ‘photograph’. Suggested donations £1-£5 to cover the cost of the paper/chemicals (depending on sizes) We can’t wait! 🍃🌿

Including altering, decorating, sculpting, and lots of other creative things. No artistic skills needed! 📚🎨

MEET THE STALLHOLDER
HEATHER MAKES GLASS
Heather is the creator behind @heather_makes_glass , and as you might have guessed, she is totally obsessed with all things glass. Her love for glass started at a young age. Her family were the only house in the street with a stained glass door, something she was (and still is) very proud of. This love has only grown as she has gotten older, and she started Heather Makes Glass so she could share her art and put her beautiful collection of glass sheets to good use.
Her work reflects the two sides of her personality: goth girl and pastel princess. Pinks and purples are often her go-to colour palette, but she can’t help but add some spooky undertones. She is inspired by nature, toys from her childhood, and anything silly that makes her smile.
She designs and makes all of her pieces in her cosy purple studio in Harrow, London. By cosy, she means small, and by studio, she means spare bedroom. She takes pride in selecting only the finest sheets of glass and materials, sourced from UK companies that love glass as much as she does.

As ever, joining us at each market will be an array of small businesses, and it’s an excellent opportunity to pick up some wonderful and unique items.

Holst is producer Sam Williams. Based in London, his tracks are scattered with analogue tape textures, heavy sub frequencies, glitches samples and post-garage beats
