Chris Paul averaged 9.2 points, 6.8 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 26.4 minutes over 58 games with Golden State last season. He was originally acquired by the Warriors via trade with Washington on July 6, 2023.

The Warriors have acquired guard Lindy Waters III from the Thunder in exchange for the draft rights to forward/center Quinten Post (52nd overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft).
In a related transaction, the Warriors have agreed in principle to reacquire the draft rights to Post from the Trail Blazers (via the Thunder) in a trade that is not yet finalized.
