As the major sponsor of the GAMA Horizons Fellowship grant, Chip Theory awards $5,000 to the stand-out Fellow in each cohort. This year, we are also trialling a pilot programme where we will teach a new publisher the ropes - supporting them from their crowdfunding campaign through to setting up their distribution network and selling their games to the public. This year's GAMA Horizons Fellowship grant winner, from the 2023-2024 cohort, is Cat Drayer from Drayer Ink. Cat and her husband George have created their first game, Bubble Net, a meditative, multiplayer solitaire game based on real ocean science. Play as a pod of humpback whales, herding fish into a delicious ball in the centre of your board, so you can take a satisfying Big Bite! Bubble Net is for 1-4 players, is suitable for ages 14 and up, and takes 10-15 minutes per game. Add more copies of the game to increase the player count indefinitely. /projects/catdrayer/bubble-net/description
