UKGE 🇬🇧🧑‍🤝‍🧑🎲 #ukgamesexpo2023 [Recap & Highlights] Last weekend was so much fun! We were able to join the @ukgamesexpo this year as part of a bigger ongoing trip around the UK visiting friends. This is my second time travelling to a big games convention, after Spiel 22, and it was absolutely worth it. UKGE being smaller than Spiel meant that it was easier to see everything it had to offer. I felt a lot more relaxed 😌 and came out of it with many Highlights ✨ 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 People The biggest highlights are always the people you meet along the way and you share the hobby with. Incredibly lucky to have met and played so many great games with the lovely @board.game.diaries . It was also great to meet @boardgiulie for the first time, @boardgamereviewuk , among other creators, publishers and designers. 🎲 Games So many games. Really glad I found it and will be buying any future issues. The T-shirt in the picture is also from them! 🍐Shut Up and Sit Down As a big fan of their podcasts and videos, seeing Tom, Matt and Pip from @shut.up.and.sit.down live playing Wavelength was a highlight. I wish I would have been able to say hi to them. 👬 James, Rana and Ben Three nice guys that found me wandering around the gaming halls on the first night and invited me to play with them.
