This rum staple is hard to top. It is endlessly customizable & always delicious. I have been working my way through the extensive rum list at
@forbiddenisland in Alameda, CA. This offering is called 𝐓ɦ𝖾 𝐊𝗂ᥣᥣ 𝐃𝖾𝗏𝗂ᥣ 𝐂ᥣυᑲ and is Forbidden Island’s delightful challenge to sip your way through a list of 99+ bottles of rum from around the world! I am currently halfway (𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦?) through the 1st level. You can learn about & taste the sugary spirit on the rocks, in mai tais & of course in a daiquiri like the one above. I CAN’T wait to graduate to the 2nd level that features hard to find, allocated, rare & rums aged 10 years and older!

3/4 oz Demerara Syrup
