Next year, released by @ludonovajuegos , a game that is very dear to me. A completely revised and expanded version of my first game that was release as a print n play in 2017. A solo game about sea exploration and all the human tragedies that are lived on board. Fear and hope shaped by hand management and map exploration. This new edition builds up in so much that I have learned during the last years. This game is very close to my heart and I hope you have the chance to discover it.
CUBE EXPRESS is my newest game, that will be released by @spielefaible in October. This is an old school, back to basics, cubes on a map boardgame where cubes can be different things depending where they are on the map or on the player boards: resources, dividends, passengers, contracts, objectives. A big shutout to @haraldlieske for his art and the feeling he brought to the game.

Flashback to PAPER ROLL & WRITE, a game I had the pleasure to co-design with Andre Santos (@gamnificent ), and @pedro.kerouac , with amazing art by Carlos Meinedo during the Pandemic first Lockdown. During those hard times, the design of this game cleared our minds and in a record time we shared the game as a free Print n Play for those who were locked at home. This 2 player only R&W based on the weird episode where all the toilet paper of the world was disappearing, has players swapping their sheets during the game, which allows for greater interaction between players (that you often don't see in a R&W). So this happened: CELTAE won the Portuguese Game of the Year award while NEOTOPIA has won best Family Game award.
What an honor! To win these awards and to have worked with so many great people on these games. A big shoutout to my friend and co-designer of NEOTOPIA André Santos from the page @gamnificent . And a big thank to @playing.season for organising these awards once again.
Firenze. Between 2005 and 2006 we lived in Firenze. When we left, a piece of us stayed behind. Now we are back to pick all those pieces and add new ones to the mix, as we show the city to our little ones. It's still, probably, the most beautiful and wholesome city in the world.
