Happy Wednesday! 🐪 After being sick for a little while, I finally made the second part of my Pinterest-inspired outfit: the #cnevelyn skirt (elasticated view) in 'Print on cotton stretch sateen in Blue/Fuschia' *gifted by @zelouffabrics (they have multiple colour options in this amazing print, too) I love this pattern & print combination, and it was worth the pattern-matching effort (on the front panels...) I lengthened the skirt above the slit by about 4 inches. 💙 I am in the process of figuring out my new phone, so bear with me 👵 and I'm on the mend but not quite back to "usual". I know it hasn't been THAT long, it only *feels* long 😄 I've missed sewing & sharing. I can't figure out if I've been really distracted or really focused elsewhere- maybe its the same thing- but either way this month hasn't given much extra mental space. 💙 What a bright spot sewing is, though! I usually choose colours from my palette BECAUSE I love the result of wearing it, and I do not feel any external pressure to avoid any specific colours. #memademay2024 Day 18: jeans & a nice top. Haha, I love a blouse that's relaxed but not in a "I've completely given up" way. Crinkly rayon feels like a tee shirt so I'm cool doing chores at home, but I don't have to change for going out. The pattern is #pmsuun and I swapped the cuffs for elastic because I don't want my sleeves in my bread dough or dish water. It's a fantastic basic-with-a-twist top.
