An old friend told me a saying today.
“When a tree falls, the monkeys flee”
Looking at back at a night in London that I loved and would relive everyday if I could, I realise how when I fell, I had the ones who hung around me for whatever reason, scatter and forget I exist.
I’m going to make it back to the top, but falling from grace taught me lessons money couldn’t buy.
1. You have one fucking life, don’t forget your dreams for comfort
2. Learn that if your “close friends” exceed ten they probably aren’t close
3. Only you can save yourself
4. Tell yourself you’re going to do it and you will, don’t want, do.
5. Be humble, it’s the only reason I still have the people that knew me when I was at the bottom, to this day.
6. Money won’t buy you happiness, it’ll make things easy though
7. You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone
8. If you’re gonna break your back working, do it for yourself
9. Learn not to care so much
10. The only man who wants to see you do better than them is your father
Happy weekend ❤️
Oh what a night!
Honestly one of the best nights I’ve had in a very long time, celebrating the engagement of not only a friend but someone I consider a sister.
Congratulations Paige and Levi, you both deserve the world!
PS the white tux stayed white 😂
