In A la carte, players are semi-psychotic cooks attempting to hone their culinary skills. Each player receives a miniature pan and a hotplate. Then each turn you can either attempt to turn up the heat, season your dish, or attempt to steal another cook's recipe in the making. _
This is a simple family game with a ton of laughter around the table. The seasonings for your dishes are made from these little plastic pieces that are in a number of little plastic bottles. Each dish has a certain combination of heat and seasonings that a player needs to complete it, and, if the stove gets too hot or gets too much of a seasoning or salt, it's ruined, it goes into the trash. _ The other dish that you can cook is a crepe. The main thing in cooking crepes is that you must physically flip the piece over by tossing it up in your little frying pan and catching it again. It is fun to watch other players failing numerous times to flip their crepes. _ When someone cooks four of the five colors of dishes, the game ends! _ Review: Gameplay and Replayability is decent. Since this game is heavily relied on dexterity, age limit does not matter that much.
