IV Games has done it again - featured in the latest “Campaign We Love” title, that has us super-excited to revisit the Moonrakers universe in a whole new way! Brink has just launched on Kickstarter, and looks to be one of IV’s best games yet — with a unique mix of mechanics: worker placement, trading and hidden voting. All with IV’s usual top of the class production that looks simply out of this world! Moonrakers is one of our favorite games, and we can’t wait to explore its world once again with a blend of the new and familiar. Each turn, players will place one of three different sized ships (workers) onto a grid of hexes. Each hex will gain the player resources and actions, but even more importantly, it will give them power within a faction based on the color of the hex. At the end of each round, players will vote on which faction will score points, which is then multiplied by the amount of power each player has in that faction’s color on the board. We can’t wait to do be able to do stuff like upgrade our ships, hire ambassadors, explore new systems, and spend influence to complete our faction objectives that grant us new abilities!
