United Horizons recently hosted our second organizational board training session. Dr. Kimberly Payne from Payne Consulting facilitated a discussion on "Creating Safe Spaces." The event also featured a panel discussion with Art Howell, Barb Farrar, Stacy Malacara and Dr. Kimberly Payne.
United Horizons recently hosted our third individual board training session. The session began with a presentation by our Chief Operating Officer Jessica Safransky Schacht, who answered participants' questions. In the second half, attendees heard from a panel of experienced board members: Art Howell, Sabrina Morgan, Shay King and Lakesha Davis.
We celebrated our wonderful volunteers with an event at @FranksvilleCraftBeer last week. It was a lovely evening with food, drink, staff and the hardworking volunteers of Schools of Hope, VITA, workplace campaign coordinators and so many other programs. UWRC volunteers are the best!
